As our HR Specialist, you'll be instrumental in bringing this recruitment-first philosophy to life—helping us attract, onboard, and retain talented professionals who share our passion for transforming lives through high-quality NDIS support.

Role Purpose

As an HR Specialist within our Workforce Deployment & HR Department, you'll play a vital role in our mission to recruit, onboard, deploy, and support the right people for every care need. Your work will provide the backbone for scalable, compliant, and rapid service delivery across our organization.

Working under the Head of Workforce Deployment, you'll implement our recruitment strategies, manage the onboarding process, and support ongoing staff development initiatives. Your focus will be on ensuring we maintain a high-performing, engaged workforce that can deliver exceptional NDIS support services.

In line with your department's WorkWell™ contribution, you'll help enable the "recruitment-first" and "deployment-ready" execution of our model, ensure rapid matching for client/staff fit, and own compliance and onboarding processes for all workforce members—directly contributing to our ability to deliver outstanding participant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates across all service lines and regions

  • Screen applications, conduct preliminary interviews, and coordinate the interview process for potential hires

  • Perform thorough reference and background checks, ensuring all mandatory NDIS worker screening requirements are met

  • Maintain a talent pipeline for proactive staffing, aligning with our recruitment-first approach

WorkWell™ Model Integration

As an HR Specialist, you play a crucial role in our WorkWell™ Model, particularly within:

  • Recruitment & Matching

    You'll help source, screen, and shortlist staff based on technical skills, values, and fit—a cornerstone of our model

  • Staff Onboarding & Mobilisation

    You'll coordinate rapid onboarding, share participant Blueprints, and ensure compliance sign-off and record-keeping

  • Continuous Improvement

    Your work will help update SOPs, processes, and recruitment/induction programs based on feedback and lessons learned

Qualifications
